THE Children in Need Rocks for Terry concert dedicated to Sir Terry Wogan has left viewers emotional after it aired tonight with a poignant tribute to the late broadcaster.

Sir Terry Wogan, who passed away in January this year aged 77, had a special charity-themed concert in his honour.
Presented by Greg James and Fearne Cotton, a host of music stars performed at the Royal Albert Hall for the event dedicated to the inspirational figurehead of BBC's Children in Need.
Fans of the late star paid their own emotional tributes to Sir Terry online throughout the evening, with archive clips bringing a tear to the eyes of dedicated viewers.

With a slightly peculiar line-up of cover performances with Olly Murs covering Frank Sinatra, Beverley Knight covering Whitney Houston, and Alexander Armstrong performing Modern Major General and Ward Thomas singing Dolly Parton's 9 to 5, the show entertained with Wogan's "favourite songs".
