'Are you joking?' Holly Willoughby fumes after failing World Record attempt on live TV
COMPETITIVE Holly Willoughby was left frustrated on This Morning today when a World Record attempt went very wrong.
Holly gets extremely competitive in World Record attempt
The programme had viewers entertained as three pairings - Holly with Trinny Woodall, Phillip Schofield with Peter Andre, and Mo and Tania Farah - tried to make a sandwich in under 48 seconds, with one person blindfolded and the other person giving directions.
However, the time went much quicker than anyone had anticipated, and chaos ensued as all three pairings struggled to put the simple snack together.
As the time ran out, Holly raged: "Are you joking? Did we really not get anywhere near it?"
She and Trinny continued making the sandwich regardless of the failure, but were then told by the adjudicator that their product did not meet the criteria anyway.

The complicated challenge was not accomplished
The time went much faster than anticipated
"We were really quite spectacularly rubbish," she later admitted.
The 35-year-old had been desperate to succeed, having found out that Phillip broke a record on the show in 2010 for being the fastest person to dress a Santa.
She could be heard whispering to Trinny before the challenge: "If we get disqualified, I'll cry."
Peter Andre and Phillip Schofield also flopped
Holly had made no secret of her desperation to succeed
"@hollywills looks totally devastated at her sandwich looool #thismorning good attempt guys #WorldRecord #fail," one viewer tweeted.
Another wrote: "This Morning's World Record Attempt.......On a scale of 1 to chaos.........this is top end of the scale."
This Morning airs at 10:30am every weekday on ITV.
