X Factor 2016 hopeful Ryan Lawrie has already released a single and performed at WEMBLEY
X FACTOR 2016 contestant Saara Aalton's professional past was revealed over the weekend and it's now hopeful Ryan Lawrie's turn to hit the headlines.
Ryan Lawrie auditoned for The X Factor 2016
The 20-year-old Scottish singer - who made viewers swoon by singing The Vamps' Oh Cecilia on Saturday night's first show of the series - performed in front of 80,000 screaming fans at this year's Capital FM Summertime Ball, which was held at Wembley Stadium.
Despite Ryan auditioning for the ITV talent show as an "amateur", it's now been revealed that he's even released a single called You're Free, with it entering the iTunes chart at number 39.
An X Factor spokesperson insisted to Express.co.uk: "Ryan won a competition to sing at the Capital Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium but he is not a signed artist and has never had a record deal.
"Anyone can apply for The X Factor whether they are professional or amateur, irrespective of their past experience and all contestants are auditioned on merit."

Hopeful's audition was shown on Saturday night
The latest claims come after it was revealed that singer Saara - whose audition was shown on last night's show - had come second on The Voice of Finland in 2012, after already competing on Talent Suomi - the Finish version of the Got Talent franchise - and making it as far as the Top Three.
In 2011, she even attempted to represent her homeland in the Eurovision Song Contest and came runner-up, with Paradise Oskar eventually winning the national ticket.
She tried again earlier this year, with her song No Fear. Once again she placed second, just missing the chance to hit the continental stage.
Sara said on the programme last night that she can sing Frozen in multiple languages, and it’s no surprise: she replaced Kristen Bell as Anna in the Finnish dub of the Disney behemoth Frozen, having already dubbed the likes of Rise of the Guardians and Brave.

She also has three studio albums to her name: Blessed With Love, Angels-Angels and You Had My Heart, the latter of which - her most recent - was brought out in 2013.
The 29-year-old said on The X Factor: "I've performed a lot, a lot. I've done talent shows in Finland but I have never done anything like this. I need help, which is why I came here."
Nicole Scherzinger in particular was completely won over by the vocalist, telling her: "That was so good you make me want to twerk right now, my ass wants to clap for you. You are the bomb dot com."
