Helen Skelton covers up in demure outfit following ‘no knickers’ Twitter storm
SHE has been making headlines at the Rio 2016 Olympics thanks to her racy outfits, but it seems that presenter Helen Skelton decided to tone things down today.

In this evening’s coverage of the swimming events in Rio, the 33-year-old Countryfile host opted for a more conservative ensemble that kept the focus firmly on the athletes.
The Carlisle-born star was seen sporting a sleeveless yellow top, which featured a striped pattern that cut diagonally across the front.
She paired it with a demure, over-the-knee skirt as she sat presenting with co-hosts Olympians Rebecca Adlington and Mark Foster.
The former Blue Peter presenter wore her long tresses down in a natural wave and wore a slick of bright red lipstick.
Her getup was a far cry from the more risqué outfit Helen donned at the weekend, which sent Twitter into meltdown when some questioned whether she was even wearing underwear.
Helen had chosen a black playsuit with a V-neck and a very high hemline that showed off her toned pins, however her sartorial choice proved to be a controversial one with viewers.
Many took to social media to comment on the outfit with some slamming her for it, while others could not understand what the furore was all about.

Helen Skelton had her legs out, big deal. The way people are talking about it you'd think she'd done a full Basic Instinct at the camera
“Helen Skelton had her legs out, big deal. The way people are talking about it you'd think she'd done a full Basic Instinct at the camera,” said one perplexed audience member.
Another person said what many were thinking, posting: “@HelenSkelton You wear what you want!”
Many also pointed out that Helen’s co-host Mark was also flashing an eyeful of leg in a pair of shorts, which seemed to have got lost in the outrage aimed at her.

It appeared that things did not get much better after she wore a bright orange number later on and seemed to get social media users hot under the collar.
The orange wrap-style dress featuring irregular straps also showed off Helen’s legs, which was clearly too much for some people.
Despite criticism, Helen has seemingly ignored her online criticism and shared snaps with her fellow presenters where she could be seen having a ball covering the swimming heats at the prestigious event.
