Emmerdale SPOILER: Chrissie White celebrates her divorce by kissing Robert's brother Andy
EMMERDALE’S Chrissie White has been through the mill more than most, so it's no wonder she decides to put her woes behind her by passionately kissing none other than her ex-husband’s brother, Andy Sugden.
Chrissie White gets her own back on Robert Sugden by kissing his brother Andy
After heading to see her solicitor to finalise her divorce from Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), the newly single brunette turns to an unlikely shoulder to cry on, Andy (Kelvin Fletcher), who gets more than he bargained for.
Enjoying Andy’s company, Chrissie (Louise Marwood) takes it upon herself to steam things up by faking an ankle injury. Always the Prince Charming, Andy lifts Chrissie in his arms before the inevitable happens.
It’s unclear what will follow from their shock kiss, but one thing’s for sure: Robert is not going be happy.
Chrissie and Robert finally split after Robert's affair with Aaron Livesy (Danny Miller) came to light, which resulted in the enraged scorned woman blowing up her husband’s car and accidentally causing a fatal helicopter crash.
Chrissie and Andy will share a passionate snog later this month
What will come of Andy and Chrissie's shock romance?
While Robert’s been busy chasing his lover Aaron around the village and consoling him through his heartbreaking child abuse case, Chrissie’s luck has continued to tumble.
Last month, she discovered there’s a good chance Lawrence White (John Bowe) isn’t her biological father. After confessing he wasn't up to scratch in the bedroom, Lawrence admitted he’s given his wife Bernice permission to sleep with other men. Since then, Chrissie has driven herself crazy wondering if her own mother could have had a similar arrangement.

Andy and Chrissie's kiss is bound to have an enormous ripple in the Dales
Andy and Chrissie grew closer last week, when he assured her that his own biological father was useless and that Lawrence has stood by her through thick and thin while they pondered what it really meant to call someone “dad”.
Either way, there’s more drama ahead for Chrissie as her new romance is bound to cause havoc in the Yorkshire Dales. All will be revealed when Emmerdale airs their kiss on Wednesday, March 16.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
