Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer says producers 'have got it covered' after book delay
AFTER George R R Martin announced that the next novel in the Game Of Thrones series would not be ready before the TV drama's next season hits the air, fans became concerned over where the HBO smash could go next.
Natalie Dormer discusses Game Of Thrones' upcoming sixth season
But speaking to Jimmy Kimmel, actress Natalie Dormer has revealed that show bosses David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have long been prepared.
"I think David and Dan have got it covered," she declared. "It's fresh, clean snow for all of us."
She went on: "They sat down and had a big pow-wow with George a couple of years ago in case of this eventuality. George is a producer on the show.
"Maybe A-to-B, they [the book and the show] will go off on slightly different tangents, but B is still B. They're all on the same page. Ish."

Dormer, who also recently starred in the final two Hunger Games movies, also said that she has no idea what happens to other characters besides her own in the upcoming sixth cycle.
"When I joined them in the second season, I was like, 'I wanna go back to just feeling like a fan', so I stopped reading other people's storylines," she explained.
"I only read the scripts that are relevant to Margaery and Highgarden, so when the show airs I'm sitting on the couch watching it like you."
Elsewhere in the interview, Reading-born Dormer, 33, said that speculation around the fate of Kit Harington's Jon Snow put a lot of scrutiny on the cast, after he was seen being killed at the end of the last season but was subsequently spotted filming new scenes on location.

"It was pretty intense towards the end, last year. Now there's some posters up that have maybe given a little bit of the game away," she laughed.
"If you get stabbed that many times, you're pretty much dead."
