Piers Morgan antagonises The X Factor's Mason Noise in 'terrible' first interview on GMB
VIEWERS slammed Piers Morgan's interviewing style as he laid into The X Factor's Mason Noise during his first day on Good Morning Britain.
GMB viewers branded Piers Morgan's interview with Mason Noise 'horrible and terrible'
The ITV programme's newest recruit mocked the singer when he refused to reveal his real name, after being booted off the reality show on Saturday evening.
However, the 50-year-old did praise Mason for standing up to Simon Cowell during his infamous Six Chair Challenge appearance.
After being asked whether Noise was his actual surname by Piers, he replied: "You will have to go and Google it. It's like asking Batman what his name is!"
Clearly not content with his answer, the chat show host barely let Mason get a word in edgeways and poked fun of his "low aspirations", much to Twitter's disgust.

The far from complimentary messages continued: "@GMB @piersmorgan @itsmasonnoise terrible antagonising interviewing skills by Piers."
"@IamMrsKateG totally agree what a awkward interview in @GMB just now," another person tweeted.

During his chat, Mason also rubbished claims that he was "drugged up" during The X Factor, saying all he'd taken was two Ibuprofen.
Speaking afterwards, Susanna, 44, joked: "I love everybody, that's how I can work with Piers. It's a great privilege to be back with you. I no longer need coffee to wake me up…"
Piers was also shown a clip of Olly Murs wishing him luck while telling him not to make any mistakes, to which he quipped: "Some of us are professionals Olly. Only joking, I felt sorry for him!"
