Loose Women star Katie Piper has shared one job that ITV bosses need to crack that she doesn't envy. The 42-year-old documentary maker has been a part of the panel show since July 2021 as she shared that a lot more work goes into the logistics of the line up than audience members may realise.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, she shared: "They run a rota. I feel so sorry for the producers because it must be so stressful. There's just so many different dynamics, personalities and diaries. Lots of the women have got other careers outside of the show, so it can be a real surprise who is going to be on the show and when. You can have a different panel every single time, which I think is kind of the beauty of the show, because you never know what kind of episode you are going to get or the dynamics that you are going to get.

"I love doing it because all of the other telly that I have done before Loose was like a lot of documentaries and hard-hitting, serious subjects. So Loose has allowed me to have a little bit of fun and allow the audience to see a less serious side of me, which I've really enjoyed."

Hitting back at headlines referring to clashes among the cast, Katie said: "It is a debate show, you are not supposed to agree on everything. You are supposed to come with your views and opinions, and I think when people see women not agreeing with each other then they see that as a 'row'.

"But no, women can just have an opinion and disagree. With men, that would be called a 'debate', you know?

"So it's not catty or falling out and no one hates anyone. We are all colleagues and some of us are good friends outside of the show, but we would not be doing our job if we just all agreed all of the time."

Away from Loose Women, Katie has partnered with Dove Whole Body Deodorant to give Brits a confidence-boosting refresh to help them beat the “evening bail” precisely when they need it most.

By late afternoon, many Brits are already thinking about cancelling, according to new research from Dove. Yesterday, the TV presenter unveiled the UK’s first “Stay Ready With Me” Station at Battersea Power Station, a quick stop for Brits to refresh and rethink that last-minute bail.

She told The Express: "I hope this campaign can be the start of normalising everyday odour and knowing that there is a way to maintain confidence from head-to-toe all day long. Having plans and friends is important and we want to see people stay connected instead of bailing.

"It's a really feel-good campaign with an affordable solution that everyone can access. I'm so very proud to be a part of it and to carry the product in my handbag."
