'Masterpiece' period drama fans saying is better than Pride and Prejudice
A "captivating" period drama has been hailed by fans as the "best thing I have ever seen".

Period drama fanatics shouldn’t miss out on this “beautiful” series that rivals the likes of Bridgerton, Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice.
Released earlier this month, Seeking Persephone on Prime Video is a four-part adaptation of author Sarah M Eden’s beloved 2008 novel and it'is perfect for fans of The Other Bennet Sister which now airs on BBC One.
The limited series is a Regency-era historical romance about Persephone Lancaster (played by Ryann Bailey) who marries the feared Adam Boyce, Duke of Kielder (Jake Stormoen), to save her family from financial ruin.
She moves to his cold and isolated castle, trying to get to know the Duke on a deeper level as he attempts to keep his distance from his new wife.
With its Beauty and the Beast style storyline, it’s no wonder that fans cannot stop raving about the newly released romantic drama.
