Actor and musician Jimmy Nail sparked concern from fans after an appearance on BBC Breakfast on Tuesday morning. The star was on the show to announce a new tour, where he is expected to take a look back on the highlights from his longstanding career in showbiz.

Speaking to Sally Nugent, the Crocodile Shoes star shared that he feels "as well as he can be", given that he had to get up at 5am. He said to the host: "You'll know about that," as she replied: "Yeah, it's not great, is it?" He responded: "No, but I've had some cups of coffee and porridge and I'm ready to rock!" Despite him admitting that the early morning was tough, meaning he was more than likely feeling a bit tired, fans at home were concerned for his health as he appeared to be quite slow to react to questions in parts of the interview. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, viewers at home shared their worries for the celebrity.
