'Gripping' crime thriller perfect for fans of Unforgotten free to stream
The crime drama has been hailed as 'compelling' by fans and is now free to stream.

A crime series described as "gripping and compelling" is now streaming on BBC iPlayer, making it ideal viewing for admirers of Nicola Walker's Unforgotten.
Wisting centres on homicide detective William Wisting as he tackles the most challenging cases of his career.
When his investigation into a serial killer intersects with his crime-writing journalist daughter's news report, he faces personal peril whilst attempting to crack deadly crimes.
The Norwegian police procedural drama initially broadcast in 2019, and was picked up by the BBC that same year.
BBC iPlayer describes it: "Norwegian detective Wisting tackles grisly cold cases, seemingly unconnected murders, conspiracies and a rising body count. Can he find the truth? Moody Scandi thriller," reports Wales Online.

Season one of Wisting was adapted from two novels by Jorn Lier Horst, The Caveman and The Hunting Dogs, with the series continuing for four additional seasons, the fifth having premiered in 2024.
The third series, currently available on BBC iPlayer, centres on a wealthy family's hidden truths being exposed following the disappearance of a young British boy from his family's hotel and the discovery of a deceased employee.
The series goes on to show Wisting's pursuit of an American serial killer alongside FBI agents, while his daughter investigates a dead neighbour, intersecting with the former dangerous crime.
Sven Nordin plays William Wisting across the 26 episodes, with his daughter Line played by Thea Green Lundberg.

One fan said they binged the whole first season in one sitting, admitting they "just couldn't stop", while another said: "The first episode was very gripping and compelling, I'm excited to watch more. It's a beautifully shot show, on location in snowy Norway."
Another said it "gets increasingly gripping", adding: "I wasn't sure whether to invest in it but really glad I did."
Another begged for more, writing: "Wisting is one of the best series we've seen in a long time! Really, should rate a 10 but perfection is hard - this is close! Well done, not slow-moving; still not clear about Wisting's wife. But almost binged the whole series. All episodes were good stories; good cast; cleverly done; lots of suspects, twists and turns! MORE MORE MORE please!!!!!"
Someone else said it was "superb", adding: "Great plot, great acting, great direction. Very watchable indeed."
This comes after ITV confirmed Sanjeev Bhaskar and Sinead Keenan would be returning as DI Sunny Khan and DCI Jessica James for Unforgotten season seven.

The Split star Nicola left the series when her character, DCI Cassie Stuart, tragically died after a car crash in season four, and she later spoke of her exit after leaving fans devastated.
She told Radio Times: "I've worked with [Unforgotten creator] Chris Lang more than any other writer and we are friends. From the very beginning, we talked about Cassie's story being finite; Chris was always putting her through a story arc that would damage her emotionally.
"The buzzword was that she was an empath, and the problem with being an empath is that eventually, you break.
"I felt that to have her keep coming back would make her seem like a superhero. So it was very much a joint and long-planned decision."
Wisting is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
