Love Is Blind: UK season two official trailer

Love is Blind UK host Emma Willis was moved to tears during the emotional reunion special on Netflix and had to take a break. The second series of the dating competition wrapped up this week, culminating in a much-anticipated reunion special.

The final episode of Love is Blind UK witnessed three couples tying the knot, but the reunion revealed that only Kieran and Megan had managed to stay together. Kal and Sarover confessed they parted ways in January after Kal concluded they were no longer compatible.

In the meantime, Billy and Ashleigh ended their marriage in January due to personal differences. Despite the breakup, Ashleigh expressed that she still believes in love, just not with Billy, and her words moved Emma to tears.

"I have faith in love from this experiment and being brave every single day of that experiment," she declared. "And exposing myself in every possible way because I wanted this to work," reports the Mirror.

"And I wanted to find true love and someone who would make me feel safe every single day. I want someone with a backbone. Someone who loves me for me and all of me 365 days of the year until we pass. I want that love story, and I deserve that love story, and I love myself for that. And love me unconditionally every single day and not give up within three months because I have a role which is very similar to yours, where I travel at times."

Host Emma responded: "I know, I know this is really hard. But thank you both so much for being here, for being honest, and I do hope you both find genuine love until the day you die."

"Oh, you got me, you two did," said the star, whilst husband and co-presenter Matt Willis offered comfort.

"Shall we take another break?" he asked, and Emma agreed that pausing filming would be for the best.

Throughout the reunion, Sarover revealed details about her split from Kal, explaining that she "never saw the end coming".

Kal repeatedly stated: "I just don't think I'm compatible in a long-term relationship, and it took me to meet on paper the perfect woman to realise that."

However, Sarover fired back and slammed him for entering into a "legal commitment" she believed he should never have undertaken if he harboured uncertainties about their future.

Love is Blind is available on Netflix.
