Visitors to Jeremy Clarkson's farm have been issued with crucial advice upon arrival at the popular destination. The renowned location from the Amazon Prime series attracts lengthy queues daily. Those planning a trip to Clarkson's Farm could shave some time off queuing by following a tip.

A Reddit user on r/ClarksonsFarm sought recommendations for visiting Clarkson's establishment, The Farmer's Dog. Their journey aims to sample the pub's cuisine, though securing a booking has proved impossible despite "a month" of attempts.

The sought-after restaurant frequently sees crowds spilling onto the street, with previous patrons offering key advice to prevent letdown.

But they had a plan for how to make sure they didn't have to queue for hours to get in. The hopeful diner posted: "I've been trying for a month to get a reservation at The Farmer's Dog.

"That's not working. My plan is to take a train from Paddington early to Oxford, get the rental car, then queue at the pub with our fingers crossed that we get in. We're happy to just eat at the tents if we don't get in.

"We'll stay the night then try to get to the farm shop at 8:00 or 9:00 so we're there before the lines, then head back to Oxford to drop off the car and take the GWR back to London. Is this feasible?".

The guidance offered to the would-be visitor was straightforward: bypass the pub entirely and opt for an alternative on-site dining venue offering equivalent culinary standards.

The Clarkson's Farm enthusiast reveals they, alongside numerous other regulars at the Clarkson-owned establishment, will choose outdoor seating rather than joining lengthy queues to enter the venue.

A supporter responded: "The Farmer's Dog has the Grand Tour marquee on site (with shops/bar) so if you can't get a table in the pub you can get drinks in there and food from the food wagon. I'm local and that's what we do when we visit.

"The garden is lovely and has great views so I'd rather do that than spend hours queuing for the pub. People visit from all over the world/UK so it's nice to chat to other people in the beer garden."

This follows Clarkson's criticism of "corporate bullying" which would force him to implement an "impossible" modification at the establishment.

Clarkson acknowledged he must address the woeful water pressure at The Farmer's Dog, as presently they receive nothing beyond a "dribble".

He revealed: "They want [a change] made to our Rational steam ovens, which, according to our plumber, would be impossible. This is exactly the sort of corporate bullying that pubs really don't need right now."
