Linda Robson admits 'I nearly lost Loose Women job' in sad home life admission
Loose Women star Linda Robson opened up about a difficult time she's been having at home and admitted she 'nearly lost her job'.

Loose Women's Linda Robson opened up to her fellow panellists about the "hard time" she's been facing at home and how she "nearly lost" her job. In Monday's episode (5th May), Charlene White led the panel, which included Linda Robson, Brenda Edwards, and Gloria Hunniford, as they began discussing the 80th anniversary of VE Day amid ongoing celebrations.
When asked how they manage to "keep calm and carry on" Linda was eager to share her experiences first, admitting that she has let slip "the odd swear word" on TV. She confessed: "I nearly lost my job, but hopefully I'm not gonna swear today because it's a very important day." She continued, revealing that things have been challenging at home, but expressed hope for resolution: "Things have not been great at home, but hopefully things will be sorted out soon and I can get on with my life." Charlene chimed in, acknowledging that viewers are unaware of Linda's current struggles behind the scenes. Linda responded: "We've all got stuff we don't like to share with people, that we like to keep private.", reports the Manchester Evening News.

Linda further commented on the difficulty of staying composed: "Sometimes it's quite hard to keep calm and carry on but hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel and everything will be sorted. I've got my lovely children and my grandchildren... and you lot as well."
Brenda Edwards then offered her perspective, saying: "I like to say that my keep calm and carry on t-shirt permanently with me. Everybody knows everything that I've been through.
"You need a toolkit in life so you might have a ladder for ups and downs, a hammer because it bashes you sometimes.
"I like a spirit level to keep me on the straightened line, and you've gotta have some glue to put yourself back together after it and that's what I'm working on."
In 2022, Brenda revealed the heartbreaking death of her son Jamal due to cardiac arrhythmia following recreational drug use. At the time, she stated: "I have sadly learned that the cause of Jamal's devastating passing was due to cardiac arrhythmia,".
"[This was] caused by having taken recreational drugs and I wanted to address this myself to everyone who loved, admired and respected my son.
"Since finding out the news I've been in a state of shock, and I am still trying to process it. But it's so important to me that I do address it as no mother or any loved one should have to go through what Jamal's sister, Tanisha, and I have been through since he passed."
