LW: Coleen Nolan forced to apologise after subbing co-star
Coleen Nolan, the host of Loose Women, had to say sorry following a blunder where she accidentally snubbed her ITV colleague during a live broadcast.
On the episode that aired on Wednesday (April 30), Coleen was at the helm, with panellists Janet Street-Porter, Linda Robson, and Heart Radio's Kelly Brook joining the line-up.
Before heading into a commercial break, Coleen hyped up the upcoming segment, revealing that Linda would be sharing her bond with Anne Hathaway and their mutual support for Arsenal Football Club.
After returning from the adverts, Coleen made a misstep by bypassing Linda and her promised story, opting instead to turn to Janet to open the discussion on the significance of anniversaries.
After mistakenly prompting Janet to offer her insight, the former singer quickly realized her error and that it was Linda who should have been in the spotlight, reports Belfast Live.

The show took an uncomfortable twist as Coleen got flustered, asking Janet to share her experiences with past relationships. In a hasty correction, Coleen interjected: "We're not, I'm not [coming to you next]."
She went on to reassure: "I'm saving you." Janet took it in her stride, wittily remarking: "You're giving me time to come up with my answer." She seemed unfazed by the postponement of her segment.
Coleen made an effort to steer the programme back on course, gesturing towards Linda and asserting: "Linda, I'm going to ask you."
At this point, Linda sounded perplexed by the question lobbed her way, responding with a puzzled: "What?" The audience couldn't help but react with amusement to the panel's apparent confusion over who should speak next.

The host owned up to her oversight with an apology, saying to her colleague: "Sorry, sorry, I forgot to mention I was so excited to get to Janet's love life that I forgot to mention about this Hollywood connection."
Seizing the moment, Linda shared her link to icon Anne Hathaway, an avid Arsenal football supporter, and her son Louis Dunford.
Linda and her son recently made waves on Twitter when it came to light that Louis penned the anthem for Arsenal F. C, The Angel (North London Forever), now belted out by legions of fans across the globe.

Anne Hathaway, counted among those fans, took to social media to perform her rendition of Louis' song, a heartfelt homage that was later featured on Loose Women.
Back in the studio, Linda was visibly moved as she declared: "I think I might cry." Coleen, perceptive to Linda's emotional state, offered comfort: "Are you ok, love, do you want a tissue?"
Despite the surge of emotions, the proud mother composed herself. "I'm alright," she assured the host, before they proceeded with the programme.
Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV1, from 12:30pm.
