Yellowstone is reportedly set to get a further spin-off on a brand new channel. Yellowstone and subsequent spin-offs have broadcast on Paramount+ to date. However this new offering would air on CBS. No deals are yet in place but Variety reported it had confirmed that early discussions were in place for the new series. It would focus on Luke Grimes who would reprise his role as livestock commissioner and former Navy SEAL Kayce Dutton.
Although the original Yellowstone series ended in December last year after five series the show has spawned a numer of spin-offs and remains hugely popular with viewers. Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly are set to reprise their roles as fan favourites Rip and Beth Wheeler in their own series which is currently in the works. Showrunner Taylor Sheridan also created the prequels 1883 and 1923. Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren are currently starring in the second season of the latter. The Madison starring Michelle Pfeiffer is yet another show in the Yellowstone universe.

Luke played Kayce Dutton since the first season of Yellowstone in 2020. He was the youngest of the powerful Dutton family headed by his father John (Kevin Costner).
His father took issue with his marriage to Broken Rock Indian Reservation resident Monica Long (played by Kelsey Asbille) and Kacey was often forced to prove where his loyalties lay.
At the end of the show the character successfully sold the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch to Thomas Rainwater and the Broken Rock Indian Reservation for the same price his ancestors purchased it for — $1.25 per acre.
Kayce, who worked as a livestock commissioner during the course of the original series, retained a small part of the ranch on which to live with his family, which could serve as the basis for the new project.
