Davina McCall show shelved by ITV as huge 'problem' found after just two series
A third series of Davina McCall's My Mum, Your dad - which launched as a dating show for single parents - has reportedly been pulled by ITV.

My Mum, Your Dad, has hit a production snag and is reportedly on hold.
The ITV show, which is a dating programme for single parents and hosted by Davina McCall, has been shelved due to a lack of suitable middle-aged fathers.
Despite plans to commence filming later this year, the third series of My Mum, Your dad is said to have been "parked" for now, whilst the broadcaster hunts for more applicants that "fit the bill".
This development emerged merely four months after the second series was broadcast in September last year, with the show's inaugural series having premiered in 2023.
A source disclosed to The Sun: "Strangely there were lots of stunning women in the 45 to 65 bracket who wanted to take part, but a sad dearth of men who fitted the bill.

"This was a problem they encountered in 2024 when they tried to make the second series and just about managed to get enough candidates together."
The insider pointed out the increased difficulty in recruiting participants for the would-be third series, adding: "But when it came to the third outing they realised it was just going to be too difficult, and decided taking a break might be the best option."
An ITV spokesperson has hailed My Mum, Your dad as a roaring success, revealing it's had a "fantastic audience response" since its debut.
Despite strong performances and a keen following, they told the publication: "There are currently no plans for a new series in 2025 owing to other priorities in our schedule, but we may revisit the show at some point beyond that."

The reality series hit screens in September 2023 and follows a group of single parents, put forward by their own children, who are on a quest to find love with their fellow contestants.
The news comes after Davina issued a health update, sharing that she is "nearly ready" to return to screens after she underwent surgery to remove a benign tumour in her brain.
The Masked Singer judge tuned in to the launch of the ITV show last weekend and was overwhelmed to see her looking "pre-op" during the programme.
She wrote X: "I know this sounds mad, but seeing my pre-op on @MaskedSingerUK is nice!
"It was such a fun/ mad distraction. I was so grateful, and we had such a blast, but I never thought I’d say this, but I’m looking forward to working again. I’m nearly ready."
