The Grand Tour viewers have been left in floods of tears by Amazon Prime Video’s emotional farewell to Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.

One For the Road sees the former Top Gear trio traverse across Zimbabwe in three classic cars with plenty of speedbumps along the way.

When they reach the final checkpoint, the presenters decide to end the show where it all began, at the Botswana finish line from the conclusion of their first Top Gear special.

In the episode’s final moments, footage from the 2007 adventure is shown alongside the trio now, drawing an emotional parallel to some of the first and last steps of their motoring careers.

Die-hard fans were choking up at this heartstring-tugging final scene, with millions more expected to tune in to Jeremy, Richard and James’ farewell over the weekend.
