Yellowstone return date: When will season 5, part 2 air?

Yellowstone season five will be returning for part two but when can fans expect the drama to make a comeback?

Paramount+ shared the disappointing news that the hit Western drama would be finishing with five seasons in May 2023, following the midseason finale.

It's now been over a year since fans saw what the Duttons were getting up to and now knowing the story is set to be wrapped up for good, many are eager to know when it will return.

When is the release date for Yellowstone season 5 part 2? 

Yellowstone season five, part two, has been in the making for quite some time now after production was delayed.

Like many shows, the Taylor Sheridan hit series was pushed back due to the Hollywood actors and writers’ strikes last year so cast and crew couldn’t return to filming until early May.

Thankfully, it is now full steam ahead for the return of Yellowstone with an official return date revealed.

Yellowstone season five, part two, is going to debut on Sunday, November 10, on Paramount+.

Season five is to be the longest yet with 14 episodes, in comparison to previous outings which all consisted of 10 instalments each.

Part one was made up of eight episodes so there are just six episodes remaining before it’s time to say goodbye to the iconic ranch for good.

And as long as there are no schedule shake-ups, the grand finale of Yellowstone is expected to air on Sunday, December 15.

While it’s great news to finally have a date to get excited about, leading man Kevin Costner won’t be returning as John Dutton.

He confirmed via Instagram earlier this month that he wouldn’t be in part two as he now has other commitments with his film franchise Horizon: An American Saga.

So what will Costner’s absence mean for Yellowstone is going to conclude?
