Michael Mosley's 'concerned' co-stars break silence as fears grow for missing star
A three day search is continuing after Michael Mosley was announced missing on Wednesday on the Greek island of Symi.

As the search continues for Michael Mosley on the Island of Symi in Greece, his friends and colleagues from The One Show have shared a message of support for the doctor. Michael has now been missing for 48 hours after failing to return from a trek. His wife Claire raised the alarm after he failed to return after six hours.
After making several appearances on the BBC One show over the years, his colleagues Alex Jones and Lauren Laverne broke their silence as they sent out a message of support during Thursday's episode.
As the show began, Alex expressed: "You may have heard on the news, lots of us are concerned to hear that our friend Michael Mosley has gone missing while on holiday in Greece. Our thoughts are very much with his wife Claire and the rest of his family at this worrying time. We hope for more positive news."
The police have been carrying out an ongoing search for the television star after he was reported missing, with the authorities confirming they have not discovered any signs of the 67-year-old.
His agent released a statement as they confirmed the search for him is ongoing, telling The Mirror they are "very worried about him." Michael's wife Claire raised the alarm to authorities at 7:30pm local time on Wednesday, with emergency services retracing his

Local law enforcement announced they had halted the search as night fell on the Greek island in the early hours of Friday morning.
Fire officers, police search teams, dogs, helicopters, and drones were all deployed across the Greek island in the hunt for Dr Mosley when he disappeared on Wednesday.
The Greek police assured that "more men will be coming" to assist with the search.

Michael and his wife Claire are parents to four children, and the qualified doctor is also a journalist, producer and television presenter.
As well as his television appearances, Michael is also known for his famous 5:2 diet where people reduce their calories for two days of the week while maintaining their normal date for the other five days of the week.
He is also a renowned author having written international best-selling books The Fast 800, The Clever Guts Diet, The Fast Diet and Fast Exercise.
