BBC Beyond Paradise fans all say the same thing as character makes exit from series
Beyond Paradise returned to screens on Friday night and saw DI Humphrey Marshall investigating the mysterious disappearance of Housemaster Father Michael.
Beyond Paradise: Margo and Kelby discuss redundancies
Beyond Paradise viewers all said the same thing as they tuned in to watch the latest instalment of the BBC drama, which saw Humphrey Goodman (played by Kris Marshall) and DS Esther Williams (Zahra Ahmadi) investigating a missing person's case.
The episode began after Housemaster Father Michael (Joe Barnes) ventured on a midnight stroll when he was enveloped in a thick grey fog and a strange figure presented itself. Although, after failing to show up for work the next day, Humphrey and Esther were straight on the case.
A video soon emerged of Father Michael bizarrely marching on the spot on the beach, which left the team stumped. Meanwhile, £10,000 was found missing from the school safe, and PC Kelby Hartford (Dylan Llewellyn) was straight on the case as he unearthed emails to an estate agent in Leeds.
However, all fingers pointed to one person - and with the school’s reputation to uphold, Headmistress Marion Goodard (Emma Fielding) was keen to keep the investigation under wraps from the public.
Elsewhere, Martha (Sally Bretton) was shocked to find the Ten Mile Kitchen had fallen victim to an overnight break-in, and the culprit soon emerged as Esther's daughter, Zoe.

When speaking about his future in Beyond Paradise and whether his character will make a comeback, Peter said to Express.co.uk and other press: "That is not sadly up to me but Barbara and I were about ways in which we can get me back into the series. I think that one of the last things he says to her is, 'Let me explain'.
"I said, 'Yeah give me a chance to explain, come on, have me back so I can explain what was going on'. So you know on the face of it, he's just taking advantage or rather I don't know how much he's taking advantage. He's selling them this story so that he can you know, have lovely dinners and have these dates with Barbara or maybe there are other women as well.
"What his intentions are beyond that, it's certainly not clear. There's no way in which he seems to be trying to get money out of them or anything like that. So I think maybe he deserves a chance to explain what he meant."
Beyond Paradise returns on Friday at 8pm on BBC One.
