Sort Your Life Out: Shirley says goodbye to doll
@Suzy_H14 opined: "I think they need to keep the doll #Sortyourlifeout." @sundaygirl851 agreed, saying: "Bring the doll back #sortyourlifeout." @Sturdygirl0803 suggested a show mash up, commenting: "Take Shirley's doll to #TheRepairShop! #SortYourLifeOut." Meanwhile @Suzy_H14 chimed in: "Well they had to keep the doll #Sortyourlifeout."
The doll had been Shirley's as a child and she was still very emotional about it. "She was my baby," she told Stacey with her voice cracking.
"When I was a child, I used to hold her like a real baby and talk to her and I used to say to her things that I never got told by my mother, which was, 'I will always look after you for the rest of my life'. That's why she's with me."
Although Shirley areed that the doll could go, even giving the toy a goodbye kiss, Stacey was clearly affected by the story.
Unbeknownst to Shirley or her family she put the doll aside and decided to repair it.
