Cat Deeley's outfit brutally mocked on This Morning as Ben Shephard takes swipe on air
Cat Deeley's outfit was compared to a pair of "curtains" by her This Morning co-star Ben Shephard in a mischievous exchange on today's Lorraine show.
Lorraine viewers were open-mouthed as Ben Shephard branded This Morning presenter Cat Deeley's trousers "curtains". It comes after tweets surfaced brutally declaring that she should "sack the stylist".
Ben first quizzed: "Is that egg the size of your head?" only for Lorraine to defend: "It's not that big." He then went on to ask: "Can we just enjoy the extraordinariness of Cat Deeley's trousers today? She's gone into her mum's caravan and nicked the curtains!"
"That's so rude, we're not making Sound of Music, you know!" she exclaimed. "We could, though!" Ben added.
The banter between them raised amusement among fans - but Cat didn't look entirely happy about the unflattering description of her outfit - especially as she'd previously been described as a style icon. It isn't the first time Cat's outfit has made her the centre of attention, as she previously came under fire for having a sense of style which was, on some occasions, drastically different to This Morning predecessor Holly Willoughby's.

Cat previously explained that she loves to shop in vintage stores for clothing - something she especially enjoyed when she lived in the USA.
Everything from "flea markets" to "high-street choices" delighted the star.
Meanwhile, she once told The Guardian defiantly that she believes women should "dress for themselves", regardless of how eccentric it might look to anyone else.
Recalling one particularly extreme fashion choice, she revealed: "I was at a party in LA and they had this enormous feathered creation – it was a 6ft-wide harness covered in ostrich feathers. I thought: 'Sure, why not?' and tried it on."
