Love Island 2019: Who left Love Island last night? Who was dumped?
LOVE ISLAND 2019 last night saw six cast members dumped from the ITV2 series. But who left Love Island last night as the girls returned from Casa Amor?
Love Island: Curtis' mum CRIES as she watches the recoupling
Love Island 2019 last night (Tuesday, July 2) saw three girls and three boys get dumped from the villa as the ITV2 had a recoupling following the girls’ return from Casa Amor. Amber Gill and Jordan Hames had a disappointing night but were not among those who left last night. Maria Back and Dennon Lewis were among the Love Island cast members who left.
Who left Love Island last night?
Maria Wild
Maria Wild was the first to leave Love Island 2019 last night despite a connection with the now-single Jordan, who faced heartbreak when Anna Vakili entered the villa with Ovie Soko.
She told ITV: “I felt like I had a bit of a connection with Jordan. I thought I might have a chance with him.
“He’s probably kicking himself now he chose to stick with Anna.”
Lavena Back
Lavena Back left Love Island 2019 after being snubbed by Danny Williams.
She said: “I had to have a serious conversation with Danny, which normally I wouldn’t want to have.
“Danny said he didn’t connect with me and perhaps I should have been more open.”
Nabila Badda
Nabila was dumped after failing to find a connection with any of the Love Island boys.
She said: “I think that the age gap between me and the rest of the boys made it quite difficult.
“I did fancy some of them but for me it’s important to get to know people one on one, and it’s hard to do that with lots of people in there.”
Stevie Bradley
Stevie was left broken-hearted as Lucie Donlan decided to recouple with George Rains.
However, he said he doesn’t feel any bitterness towards them, telling ITV: “With George it was the weirdest love triangle.
“When Lucie picked George I smiled as he gets a go at this. I don’t look back with any malice.”
Dennon Lewis
Dennon Lewis was also the victim of a love triangle after Maura Higgins chose Marvin Brooks.
However, with Amber Gill left single following Michael Griffiths’ choice to couple up with Joanna Chimonides, he said: “I had the instant attraction to Maura but I would have branched out, especially knowing what’s happened with Amber.
“I would have got to know her on a deeper level.”
Dan Rose
Builder Dan failed to build any lasting foundations with any on the Love Island girls, leading to him being dumped.
He said: “I couldn’t fake it. Lucie was a cool girl but she had two lads after her straightaway.
“So they had their foot in the door before I had a chance.”
Love Island 2019 airs nightly at 9pm on ITV2
