Emmerdale BLUNDER: Fans spot HUGE Belle Dingle and Lachlan White gaffe - did you?
EMMERDALE fans saw Belle Dingle confront ex-boyfriend and killer Lachlan White in yesterday evening’s instalment of the long-running soap. But as she told him it was all over, fans spotted a huge blunder.
Emmerdale: Belle visits Lachlan in prison to tell him it’s over
Last night’s episode of Emmerdale saw Belle (played by Eden Taylor-Draper) confront ex-boyfriend Lachlan (Thomas Atkinson) over his recent crimes.
Lachlan has been taunting Belle and her family from his cell but last night, she decided enough was enough.
She headed to the police station and was given access to confront him in his cell, which would not be allowed in real life.
Fans were quick to pick up on the blunder and rushed to Twitter to point it out.
Belle visiting Lachlan in his cell just would not happen
One viewer shared: “#Emmerdale no way that’d be legal for them to let Belle to go see that t**t.”
Another added: “What you can meet people in cells, is this new #Emmerdale?”
“Belle visiting Lachlan in his cell just would not happen, #Emmerdale,” a third continued.
Even the police officer on duty was keen to point out Belle heading into Lachlan’s cell wasn’t protocol.
“We wouldn’t normally allow it Belle, but he’s put you through so much and you deserve some closure,” she said.
It came as Belle told Lachlan he no longer had a hold over her and he had to move on.
“You tried so hard to destroy me,” Belle said. “You’re not sorry for anything but it’s over.
“You’ve got nothing left. You know the difference between you and me is family.
“Mine might be all I’ve got but we love each other and we stick together.”
She continued: “What have you got except a lifetime stuck in here?
“So this is it, this is goodbye.”
It came after Belle only recently returned to the village but with further drama with Lachlan drama behind her, could she leave once more?
Her father Zak (Steve Halliwell) and mother Lisa (Jane Cox) are currently absent from the village.
Could the young teen decide to take a further break and visit her parents?
It certainly seems likely after all of the trauma she has been through.
Emmerdale continues Monday on ITV at 7pm.
