Prince William and Kate welcome a cocker spaniel puppy to royal fold
AFTER weeks of speculation St James’s Palace has finally confirmed the news that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are enjoying the pitter patter of tiny paws in their Anglesey home.
While no name has been officially attached to the new arrival, a spokesperson for the royal couple revealed that the latest furry addition to the Royal Family is not a labrador as had been rumoured, and is in fact a cocker spaniel – a Middleton family favourite.
A spokeswoman for the royals said: "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have a male cocker spaniel.

The couple have been seen strolling along the beach at Anglesey with a puppy, which has been adopted from a litter they know.
“It’s from a litter known to the couple through a family connection. It’s a few months old.”
