Ian Huntley Avenger gets life
CHILD killer Ian Huntley demanded a white sheet to hide his face when police photographed the throat wound he suffered when he was slashed in jail, a court heard yesterday.
The seven-inch wound was inflicted by paedophile hater Damien Fowkes, Hull Crown Court was told.
Huntley, 37, who murdered 10-year-old Soham schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman, was attacked after Fowkes, 36, got on to the medical wing of Frankland Prison, Durham.
Fowkes, branded the Avenger, was yesterday sentenced to life after admitting the attempted murder of Huntley and the manslaughter of another prisoner through diminished responsibility.
