Tattooist goes star crazy
A TEENAGER is suing a tattooist for decorating her face with 56 stars - instead of three tiny ones.
Kimberley Vlaminck, from Courtrai in Belgium, said she fell asleep while tattooist Rouslan Toumaniantz turned her face into a living advert for TV’s The Sky At Night.
The 18-year-old claims her father - who went to buy an ice cream while she was getting tattooed - organised the body art for her because it's a family tradition.
She said: "When he started to tattoo me, I did not feel pain and I fell asleep. I awoke as he tattooed me on the nose and I saw what he had done. I counted 56 stars."
Kimberley is now seeking damages of £9,000 to pay for laser surgery to remove the tattoos.
She added: “It is horrible. I cannot go out I am so embarrassed. I look like a freak. I explicitly said I wanted three little stars only near my left eye.”
Romanian Toumaniantz denies her claim and says he is still awaiting payment of 50 euros.
He said: “She was awake and looked in the mirror several times...I did not hypnotise or dope her, as they say, it was with agreement.
"No way could I have tattooed so many stars on her face against her will...The trouble started when she went home and her father and boyfriend threw a fit.”
