MICHAEL Schumacher fans are overjoyed at the success of his son Mick on the racetrack but have also been blown away by the 18-year-old’s growing resemblance to his famous dad.

Mick Schumacher sent out an instagram pic of him receiving a trophy for his success on the Formula 3 racing circuit.
And admirers were not only excited about his exploits behind the wheel, the accompanying picture also caused many followers to comment on his looks.

Damn, you look like your father
One admirer tweeted: “Damn, you look like your father.”
Another said: “Your father would be so proud.”
And another tweeted: “He looks like the spitting image of his father.”
Mick Schumacher is a promising newcomer on the motor racing scene and is also becoming a real fan favourite.
He said: "Racing is what I dream of. Actually, racing is constantly on my mind.
“It's exhausting, it's difficult, it's challenging, it's complicated. It's simply awesome."

Schumacher senior continues to recover from the catastrophic head injuries he suffered in a skiing accident in the French Alps almost four years ago.
Doctors described his condition as “extremely serious” after his admission to Grenoble Hospital where he underwent two emergency life-saving operations.
The Schumacher family have guarded their privacy fiercely since the accident - and have provided few updates to his army of adoring fans who want to know how he is doing.

No updates were given until April 2015, when it was announced that the 48-year-old had shown “moments of consciousness and awakening”.
His manager and lawyer, Sabine Kehm, said: “Michael's health is not a public issue, and so we will continue to make no comment in that regard.
“We have to protect his intimate sphere. Legally seen and in the longer term, every statement related to his health would diminish the extent of his intimate sphere.”
