VLADIMIR Putin has ordered his Foreign Ministry to sue the US Government over the seizure of Russian diplomatic property in the United States.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the Russian President has said he would order to take legal action over the alleged violations of Russia’s property rights by Washington.
Mr Putin said Moscow could cut the number of US diplomatic staff after Washington’s treatment of Russia’s diplomatic mission on US, which he described as “boorish”.
He warned: “This is an open violation of the property rights of the Russian state.

“The American side has deprived the Russian state of the right to use our own property.

“That is why as a start I will give a directive to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to tun to court.
“We will see how effectively the much ballyhooed American justice system works.”
Former President Barack Obama was ordered to cut the staff in the Washington Embassy and the closure of two luxury reception properties owned by Russia after Russian hackers attempted to influence the result of the 2016 election.
