Hurricane Harvey 2017: Corpus Christi man 'shot in head' as storm rages on
A MAN is believed to be in critical condition following a shooting in Corpus Christi, which is currently being hit by Hurricane Harvey.

Officers have reported the shooting took place at 11pm local time (5am BST) as the most powerful parts of the storm near the city.
The man is believed to have allegedly attempted to break into a house during the ferocious storm, before reportedly being shot in the head by the homeowner.
The alleged shooting took place amid power outages across the city, and it is unclear if the lights were working during the late night incident.
No other injuries have been reported.

Hurricane Harvey slammed into the Texas coast on Friday as a Category 4 storm – bringing life-threatening winds and the likelihood of catastrophic flooding as the most powerful storm in over a decade hit the US mainland.
The hurricane arrived on the coast northeast of Corpus Christi around 10pm CDT (4am BST) with maximum winds of 130mph.
The storm is expected to move slowly over the Texas and Louisiana coasts for days, with forecasts for storm surges of up to 13 feet and over 3 feet of rain.
Forecaster John Tharp warned the effects of the storm could be among the worst the US has ever seen.
He said: ”We may be looking at unprecedented and major to record flooding."

Two were rerouted to New Orleans and a third will remain in Cozumel, Mexico, after its Texas port closed on Friday.
Donald Trump classified the storm as a federal emergency as the eyewall of the storm reached the coast.
On Friday he tweeted: "I am closely watching the path and doings of Hurricane Harvey ... BE SAFE!"
