JARED Kushner repeated his denial of any collusion with Russian officials during President Trump’s election campaign after a two-hour hearing earlier today.

Speaking at the White House afterquestioning by Senate investigators, the President’s son-in-law told reporters: “Let me be very clear: I did not collude with Russia, nor do I know of anyone else in the campaign who did so.
“Since the first questions were raised in March, I have been consistent in saying I am eager to share any information I have, and I have done so today.

"I had no improper contacts. I have not relied on Russian funds to finance my business activities in the private sector.
"I have been fully transparent in providing all requested information."
He described it as “an honour” to work with President Trump, claiming: “Everyday I come to work with enthusiasm and excitement for what I do.”
Ahead of the hearing, Mr Kushner released an 11-page statement detailing four meetings he had with with Russian officials during the 2016 campaign and transition period — including one set up by Donald Trump Jr. with a Russian lawyer.

In the document, Mr Kushner defends his interactions with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak and other Moscow officials as typical contacts in his role as the Trump campaign’s liaison to foreign governments.
Mr Kushner also denies media reports that he tried to set up a secret back channel to Moscow as the investigation into the Trump campaign’s link with Russia widens.
The Senate, the House and a special counsel are all investigating Russian interference in the election.

He is a senior adviser to the President and is one of his closest aides after heading up the digital strategy of the President’s campaign.
He is married to Mr Trump's daughter, Ivanka, who is also a presidential adviser.
The couple are widely considerd to be among the most influential people in Washington and are regualrly seen at the President's side.
