DONALD Trump has hit out at comedian Kathy Griffin after a photo of her holding a bloodied and severed head depicting the president.

Ms Griffin has apologised after she released an image of her holding the decapitated head covered in blood, bearing a resemblance to Mr Trump, which was widely criticised.
It was reported the youngest of Mr Trump’s four children, 11-year-old Barron, thought the image was real and panicked when the picture flashed up on TV.
Barron, who was watching TV with his mother Melania at the time, is said to have shouted “mommy, mommy!”
An unnamed source said: "He's 11. He doesn't know who Kathy Griffin is and the head she was holding resembled his dad."

The First Lady posted: "As a mother, a wife, and a human being, that photo is very disturbing.
“When you consider some of the atrocities happening in the world today, a photo opportunity like this is simply wrong."
The image has been likened to ISIS propaganda, where extremists are often sen holding up heads in videos and photos.
Ms Griffin later tweeted a video of herself “begging for forgiveness”.
She said: “I sincerely apologise. I am just now seeing the reaction of these images.
“I’m a comic. I cross the line. I move the line, then I cross it. I went way too far.

She has been dropped by sponsors and CNN announced it had pulled her from its New Year’s Eve show.
Her co-host on the show, Anderson Cooper, said he was “appalled” and “disgusted” by the image.
Donald Trump Jnr also tweeted his thoughts on the stunt, saying: “And I'm counting down having to explain it to my 8 and 10 year olds who I'm sure will see/hear about it at school.”
But critics were quick to point out images of Barack Obama with a noose around his neck appeared at the then presidential candidate’s rallies.
