The shocking images have been released as signs from North Korea suggest Kim Jong-un could be preparing for a missile attack.
According to a report from Asia Press news agency, North Korea “seems to be very aware of the US attack on Syria” - and the army were now making “preparations against cruise missiles”.
The report says soldiers have been instructed to create protective walls and remove stone buildings in vulnerable areas.
The hermit state has vowed to continue its secret underground nuclear explosions and ballistics missile tests, as the sabre rattling continues.
State media announced the tests would continue regardless of threats and sanctions from three of the world’s greatest superpowers - the US, China and Russia.
South Korean President Moon Jae-in said there was a “high possibility” of all-out war with North Korea.
