Appeal verdict due on serial killer
Nepal's supreme court says it will rule on an appeal by confessed French serial killer Charles Sobhraj that his murder conviction and life sentence be overturned.
A court notice said two judges will make the judgment on Tuesday after months of hearings and delays.
Sobhraj was convicted by a Katmandu district court in 2004 on charges of killing a western tourist in Katmandu in 1975.
He was arrested at a luxury Katmandu casino when he returned to Nepal in 2003.
