Student shot after gunman opens fire outside American school
A MANHUNT is underway for two shooters after a student was inured when gunmen opened fire outside an American high school.
The suspect is currently being hunted by police
Police swarmed the area around Suitland high school, in Maryland, following reports of gunshots.
The school has been placed on lockdown while police hunt down two suspected shooters.
Officers say two students were having an argument when one pulled out a gun and shot the other.
At the scene, eyewitnesses have reported seeing at least five shell casings littering the pavement.
The victim is believed to have suffered non life-threatening injuries

The incident took place on Brooks Drive in an apartment complex adjacent to the school, in Prince George's County.
Police spokeswoman Jennifer Doneland said the authorities believe the pair left the school and walked to the apartment and then began to argue.
The victim is believed to have suffered non life-threatening injuries after being shot in the leg when the second student brandished a gun.
They injured party managed to make their back to the school and raised the alarm.
Paramedics treated them at the scene before rushing them to hospital.
