TERROR IN MADRID: ISIS cell rumbled as police four AK-47 magazines
POLICE have discovered four AK-47 magazines after arresting two terror suspects in Madrid. The find occurred during searches of five properties in the Spanish capital this morning.

The men being held, Spaniards aged 18 and 25 whose families are from Gambia and Morocco, are being investigated on suspicion of exalting terrorism but officers will now try to establish if they were planning a terrorist attack.
Although the weapons themselves were not found, ammunition of the sort used in assault rifles like the AK-47 is also said to have been discovered.
A mechanical digger is being used for the search at a rundown hut in the Madrid neighbourhood of Vallecas which is one of the properties police are combing and where the magazines and around 30 cartridges are believed to have been found.

It is thought it was being used as a meeting point by the men and other Islamic extremists.
Anti-terror police sources described the men, who were not named, as “extremely dangerous.”

A Spanish Ministry of Interior official confirmed the arrests had been carried out in an operation coordinated by a court in Madrid.
Since the start of 2015 when Spain raised its anti-terror alert level to four on a scale of five, 175 suspected jihadists have been arrested.
