PRESIDENT-elect Donald Trump has revealed who will be performing the National Anthem at his inauguration ceremony on January 20.

The Republican billionaire has chosen 16-year-old Jackie Evancho - a “classical crossover” singer who was a runner-up on America’s Got Talent.
The news was announced on Twitter on Wednesday by Trump aide Boris Epshteyn.
Mr Epshteyn said: “Honoured to have @jackieevancho performing the National Anthem at the @TrumpInaugural Ceremony. she is an inspiration for all Americans!”
Discussing the news on NBC's 'Today' show, Miss Evancho said: “I am so excited. It’s going to be awesome.

“I feel really honoured to be able to sing for the office. It’s a great honour for me.”
Miss Evancho sang at the 2010 National Christmas Tree lighting in Washington DC, in front of Barack Obama.
And the singer, from Pennsylvania, has previously performed the national anthem at a baseball game of Pittsburgh Pirates.
Miss Evancho gained recognition in 2009 and has since issued an EP and six albums, including a platinum and gold album and three Billboard 200 top 10 debuts.
Other singers who were considered by Trump’s Inauguration Committee include opera singer Andrea Bocelli, Kid Rock, and Ted Nugent.
Trump will officially become President on January 20
Thee announcement will put an end to speculation that that Trump may invite Kanye West, who he describes as a “great friend”, to perform after the pair met at Trump Tower on Tuesday.
In 2013, Beyoncé admitted to lip-synching the national anthem at her performance during Obama's second inauguration.
