Geert Wilders posts shocking clip of riot in asylum centre
In a 40 second clip migrants are seen shouting and throwing chairs at each other at the centre in Apeldoorn.
Dutch politician Geert Wilders said a centre employee sent him the video on Friday.
Up to 30 men are seen throwing plastic chairs and table legs at each other in a large hall.
I did not know. But it does not matter because it happened
The controversial politician posted the video on Twitter, saying: "Shocking video. Asylum center in The Netherlands, Apeldoorn, Friday Dec 2. Received from an employee. #kickthemoutofourcountry".
But Dutch police confirmed the brawl took place on December 4 2015.
Mr Wilders told Dutch media he did not know the video was taken from an incident last year.
He said: "I did not know. But it does not matter because it happened."

Last week the Dutch parliament voted to ban face veils in some public places, a law the government said was essential for security but which opponents said pandered to anti-Muslim sentiment.
Few women in the Netherlands wear face veils, but a ban has long been a demand of Mr Wilders' anti-Islam opposition Freedom Party which is leading in polls ahead of elections in March.
The law, passed by the lower house but still requiring the senate's approval, bans veils and other items that hide the face such as ski masks and helmets, in places where identifying the wearer is considered essential, including government buildings, public transport, schools and hospitals.
