Air rage on Costa del Sol flight as four Poles arrested after argument over luggage
PASSENGERS on board a holiday jet due to fly out of the Costa del Sol to Poland were taken on a coach trip around the airport after police were called to deal with a cabin row.
Four poles have been arrested after an air rage incident on a flight from Malaga
Two men and two women, all believed to be Polish, were finally arrested by the Spanish Civil Guard after they refused to calm down during an argument about their luggage.
The plane was due to leave Malaga for Warsaw Modlin aiport and was waiting to taxi onto the runway when the four passengers confronted the crew.
"It seems they were unhappy about their luggage, either the way it was dealt with or something to do with a bill," said one of the holidaymakers on board.
The passengers included a group of teachers and their students who were all asked to leave the plane and get on a coach which then went round and round Malaga airport until the situation was resolved.

The flight was scheduled to take off at 3.05pm but did not depart until two hours later at 5.10pm.

The two men and women started to argue with the crew and things got so heated that the captain refused to fly and called in the police.
Other passengers said they even heard threats against the staff.
The four were arrested when they were warned to calm down and leave the aircraft but refused to do so.

The airline, not named, later told the Spanish press: "We apologise to all customers for the delay in the flight. We will not tolerate improper or disrespectful behaviour at any time."
The four now face prosecution for crimes of disobeying and resisting officers of authority.
