HILLARY Clinton was “outsmarted and outplayed” by Vladimir Putin during her time as Secretary of State, Donald Trump has ruthlessly claimed.

The Republican ripped into Clinton’s record on Syria and the conflict with ISIS during the debate in Las Vegas, claiming Moscow has played the US government for a fool.
He said: "She [Clinton] has been outsmarted and outplayed worse than anybody I have ever seen in any government.
“She doesn’t like Putin because he has outsmarted her every step of the way.”

Trump admitted that “I don’t know Putin” and said the Russian leader has no respect for Clinton.
He said: "He has no respect for her. He has no respect for our President.
"We're in very serious trouble. We have a country with tremendous numbers of nuclear warheads… 1,800 nuclear warheads and she's playing chicken.
"From everything I see, Putin has no respect for this person."
The billionaire has said in the past Putin is a better leader than Barack Obama and revealed it would be a good thing if the countries got along.

He said: "I don't know Putin.
"He nice things about me. If we got along well, that would be good.
But Clinton responded: "That's because he'd rather have a puppet as President of the United States.”
The pair locked horns in the Las Vegas debate
Mr Trump replied: "No puppet! You're the puppet."
The debate’s mediator Chris Wallace asked Trump if he would condemn interference by a foreign government, to which he replied: "Of course I condemn it.”
