NUCLEAR WAR THREAT: Kim Jong-Un's kingdom will build 80 working NUKES by 2020
KIM JONG-UN’s hermit kingdom will have enough material to make nearly EIGHTY nuclear bombs by the end of the decade, an expert has warned.
North Korea will build 79 nukes by 2020
North Korea has an existing stockpile of plutonium, which will be enough to build four to eight nukes a year.
As the unhinged dictator steams ahead with his missile and weapons programme, South Korean vice president Lee Sang-hyun predicted 79 nuclear weapons will be built by 2020.
His assessment was based on the assumption that the North currently has a maximum of 50 kilograms of plutonium and 300 kilograms of highly enriched uranium.
The hermit state has made two nuclear tests this year
There is the need to consider pursuing strategic persuasion and offering incentives in dealing with the North
Mr Sang-hyun’s report said: "Along with sanctions and pressure, there is the need to consider pursuing strategic persuasion and offering incentives in dealing with the North.”
The warnings come as South Korean and US intelligence confirm the Northern tyrant Jong-un is ready to carry out more nuclear tests.
Previous United Nations sanctions designed to limit trade with North Korea in order to cut funding for nuclear programs, have failed to suppress the military efforts of Pyongyang.
Officials have also uncovered a secret nuclear tunnel that Pyongyang could use to carry out a further test.
North Korea has launched more than 20 missiles this year
Kim warned another Korean War could break out at any moment
North Korea last month conducted its fifth and biggest nuclear test in the Punggye-ri region, and said it had mastered the ability to mount a warhead on a ballistic missile.
The nation's advanced nuclear capacity raises the threat North Korea poses to other nations, something world leaders and the UN have taken a dim view of.
