Six killed in suspected al-Shabaab terror attack in Kenya
SIX people have been killed in what is believed to be an attack by Islamist terror group Al Shabaab.

Local media reports one other person was seriously injured in the attack on a residential area in northeastern Kenya.
Police say the attackers broke down a compound entrance with a grenade before opening fire on the residents, who were asleep.
Mandera county governer Ali Roba, where the attack took place, confirmed six people had been killed by the suspected jihadis, branding it "sad".

It took place around 2AM local time in Mandera town, located on the Kenya-Somalia border.
The region has seen cross-border raids by militants in the past but police operations mean there had been a lull in attacks.
