The 27 nation bosses hopped aboard the MS Regina Danubia, a 70-metre luxury ship, to enjoy a lunch after the Bratsilava Summit to discuss the crumbling bloc's future.
And interestingly, in a nod to Angela Merkel's domination of the crumbling superstate, the boat is flying a German flag.
There were plans for the ship, which is sometimes decked out in Swarovski crystals, to reach the Justus Lipsius building in the Slovakian capital, for "polticial reflection".
