Munich killer investigated by police over 'involvement' with young people
THE killer who shot dead nine people in Munich before turning the gun on himself was investigated six years ago for 'involvement' with young people.

German police confirmed in a press conference this morning that the 18-year-old gunman, named as Ali Sonboly but also being referred to as David S by local media, was investigated in 2010 and another year for involvement with two youngsters.
A members of the prosecution team said this morning: "In 2010 and another year he was recorded for involvement with two youngsters."
Police also confirmed this morning they are investigating reports that Sonboly lured young people to McDonald's via Facebook before opening fire.

Seven of the victims are aged between 13 and 21, while other young people are also among the injured.
A 13-year-old boy is among the 10 people who are critically injured.
Three females are among the nine dead after last night's shooting at the Olympia Einkaufzentrum (OEZ) mall.
Police are also looking into the theory that the lone gunmen specifically targeted young people.
Reports suggest Sonboly lured young people to McDonald's via social media
Sonboly was a pupil in Germany but police refused to confirm where and would not even say whether he was studying at school, college or university.
Officers also confirmed he had a criminal record for burglary.
Sonboly shot his victims with a 9mm Glock 17 and 300 rounds of ammunition was found in his backpack.

He did not have a licence to own a weapon.
Police stormed the shooter's apartment and found books and documents linked to killing sprees.
A book called Amok in the Head was discovered along with newspaper articles detailing how police respond to shootings.
Police confirmed they had found nothing to link Sonboly to Islamic State (ISIS), also known as Daesh, but officers are still trawling through his computer for evidence.
