Muslim extremists 'chop off arms of Christian who refused to convert to Islam'
A PAKISTANI Christian claims his arms were chopped of by Muslim extremists when he refused to convert to Islam.

Aqeel Masih says he was kidnapped by a gang who dragged him from his home in Lahore and then whipped and tortured him and ordered him to renounce his religion.
The petrol-pump attendant claims when he refused to accept Allah as his God the extremist gang carried out ther brutal punishment by cutting off both his arms.

Aqeel did not give up on his Christian faith and refused to comply with their demand but they chopped off his both arms and absconded
A Christian organisation in Pakistan wrote: "The extremists exerted pressure on him to abandon Christianity and convert to Islam.
"Aqeel however, did not give up on his Christian faith and refused to comply with their demand. But they chopped off his both arms and absconded."
The victim has reportedly filed a lawsuit against the extremists and yesterday was pictured Ghalib Market police station.

But police do not believe his story and think it is more likely that he lost his arms in a train accident.
A senior police investigator told The Nation that three suspects had been detained in connection with the incident.
But officer Ammara Athar said: “The circumstantial evidences do not support the claims of the victim. Apparently, it seemed
that the man lost his arms in a train accident.”

Police sources told Pakistani newspaper The Nation that Aqil Masih is a drug addict who got too close to an oncoming train after an overdose.
There have also been local reports that he suffered the injuries in a fight over drug debts.
