THIS astonishing footage shows the stomach-churning moment a Chilean stunt pilot flipped his plane and flew upside down at breakneck speed with his head just feet from the ground.

Antonio Falistocco, of the Hangar Del Cielo flying team, shows ice-cold composure as he pulls off the daring manoeuvre above a South American airport and plain.
At the beginning of the video,the young pilot gains height before suddenly making a tight, spiralling turn to the left.

With another plane speeding behind him emitting white display smoke, Mr Falistocco straightens his plane before daringly flipping it 180 degrees.
Now flying upside down, the brave pilot shows no sign of nerves - or nausea.
The plane behind him drops even closer to the ground and almost touches down before pulling up and flying away.

After around 15 seconds of inverted flying, Mr Falistocco begins to tilt his plane to the side, slowly gaining height again.
With cars parked below him and people watching, he brings his plane higher and higher before finally flipping around into an upright position.
