DONALD Trump securing a huge victory on Super Tuesday in the White House race sparked a surge in the number of people Googling 'how to move to Canada'.
Americans are flocking to Google to find out how they can move to Canada after Trump's win
According to Google trends, searches for "how to move to Canada" surged as the billionaire secured victories in seven states , putting him closer to presidency.
A data editor at Google, Simon Rogers, said that the number of people posing the question to Google had increased by 350 per cent between 8pm and midnight.
At midnight, the peak even reached 1,500 per cent.

The majority of the searches came from Massachusetts, where Mr Trump won in a landslide with 49 per cent of the vote.
There was also a surge in searches from Tennesse, Georgia and Virginia.
The reason for the mass interest in Canada is that Canada's newly elected prime minister Justin Trudeau is in many ways the “anti-Trump”.

Mr Trump wants to build a walk to keep out migrants, whereas Trudeau has welcomed the first group of migrants, as the country pledges to resettle 25,000.
A website created by radio host Rob Calabrese shares the benefits of what Canada has to offer.

“If you cut your hand, you can go to the doctor and get stitched up for free.”

However comedian Hari Kondabolu said that fleeing to the country north of the border would be the easy option.
He said: “‘If Bush wins again, I’m moving to Canada.’ You’re not moving to Canada! No one’s moving to Canada. I hate to break this to you, but Canada doesn’t have a special visa for American liberal cowards.”
It is reported that the Canadian Government's website was having problems because of the large numbers of people visiting it.
