China's barbaric horse fights - as baying crowd places bets on winner
A CROWD cheers and people whip out their smart phones to record the moment two horses fight in China.

The clash was held in Liuzhou, in the Guangxi Zhuang Auang Autonomous Region,in southern China, and is part of a traditional way to ring in the new year.
Dating back 500 years, the ceremony sees a mare taken into a ring before two stallions are also led in.
The males then fight over the female, rearing up onto their back legs and savagely biting each other., tearing chunks of flesh from opponent’s body.
Before each fight, people place bets on which horse will triumph earning the winner thousands of pounds.

Hundreds of poeple look on as the animals clash below them, with people cheering as the horse they are backing looks to be victorious.
Some people even risk their own safety and sit on the floor in order to get a ringside seat.
