'We have proof Turkey backs ISIS' Shock claims from Kurdish commander
TURKEY has been giving Islamic State militants weapons and munitions, a top Kurdish commander has sensationally claimed.
Murat Karayilan, acting military commander of the Kurdistan Workers Party
The Kurdish commander believed Turkish authorities think if three million Syrian Kurds gain independence, then 20 million Turkish Kurds would do the same.
He claims to have evidence the AKP, which is headed by Turkey's Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, has ties with a host of Islamic terrorist groups.

The PKK leader said: “We’re 100 per cent positive Turkey is maintaining contact with ISIS, we’ve seen it with our own eyes.”
Moscow claims that Turkey has a mutually beneficial relationship with ISIS, buying oil from the areas captured by the terrorist group and acting as a supply line for arms.
The Kurdish leader noted it was because of the persistent interference of Turkey and Saudi Arabia which has caused the Kurds to not be invited to Geneva for the Syria peace talks.
Co-founder of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), Murat Karayilan, says the support the terrorist group has been given by Turkey is confirmed by documentary evidence.
The commander told Russian media Ankara, along with some countries in the Middle East, have given the Islamic extremists the weapons.
He said: “Along with Saudi Arabia and Qatar, Turkey has been sponsoring jihadists [in Syria] that emerged from Al-Qaeda… These states backed and armed radical Salafi groups, which base all of their actions on sharia [law]."

The Kurdish leader said Turkey wants to become a regional leader, which led the country to get involved in the Syrian crisis.
Mr Karayilan said: “In this context, the Syrian Kurds and their political parties come in sharp contrast [to Turkish political forces] due to their secular attitude to lifestyle and state structure. "That’s the reason of the jihadists’ hatred towards Syrian Kurds.”
